Soviet list sorted by population

 A combined list of the soviet socialist republics in all the titular languages of the Soviet Union Also including the Union of soviet socialist republics. There are also the names of the capitals. Sorted by increased population. The languages that changed to Latin alphabets has been converted to Cyrillic. The languages not using any of those script systems have been transliterated in an appendix. Disclaimer: some of the names of the capitals may contain minor errors in spelling
